Černá v Pošumaví

The village of Černá v Pošumaví with its five settlements and an average of 820 inhabitants became gradually the natural centre of the Lipno area. The largest banks of the reservoir can be found right there so it is not surprising that this place off ers ideal conditions for sports activities, especially for yachting, windsurfing and kiteboarding. Every year the local yacht club organises several competitions at the local and international level. The accessibility as for the transport connection is very good because this place is a crossroad among Český Krumlov, Volary and Vyšší Brod. Tourism plays a very important part for the village. Well-trained employees of the information centre can provide a good-quality service to every visitor. In the territory of the village there are fi ve locations for car-camping and a large number of restaurants and accommodation facilities. The network of cycling paths, six of which pass through Černá v Pošumaví, is built within the whole Lipno area and its importance for tourism is crucial.
