RIDING SKILL LEVEL TABLE

Children 3-5 years – ski
Novice SKI BABY 1 I have no experience.
Beginner SKI BABY 2   I can almost stop in the plow (pizza) on an easy slope (or in the training area). I don't feel confident when braking. I can't turn.
Slightly advanced SKI BABY 3   I can stop and turn a little in the plow (pizza) on the blue slope. Turning makes me trouble or I don't want to turn. I'm not afraid of speed.
Advanced SKI BABY 4   I can turn in the plow (pizza) on the blue and red slopes. Between the carves, my skis slide in parallel position. Speed control on the red slope makes me trouble.
Children 6-15 years – ski
Novice SKI KIDS 1 I have no experience
Beginner SKI KIDS 2   I can stop in the plow (pizza) on an easy slope. I can't turn at all or just a little. I am afraid of a faster ride and a steeper slope.
Intermediate SKI KIDS 3   I can safely turn in the plow (pizza) on the blue slope. Between the carves my skis slide in parallel position. I can control the speed. On the red slope I help myself a lot with the plow (pizza) and I do not control speed.
Advanced SKI KIDS 4   I can safely turn on the blue slopes in parallel ski position. On the red slope I usually keep parallel ski position or wide track. I'm not afraid of speed.
Adults – ski
Novice SKI ADULT 1 I have no experience.
Beginner SKI ADULT 2 I can break and turn in the plow (pizza) on an easy blue slope, but I don't feel confident and feel that I don't fully control my skis.
Intermediate SKI ADULT 3 I can safely brake and turn on the blue slopes. On the red slope I help myself a lot with the plow (pizza) and I am a bit scared of speed.
Advanced SKI ADULT 4 I can safely brake and turn on blue and red slopes in parallel.
Children 6-15 years – snowboard
Novice SNB KIDS 1 I have no experience.
Beginner SNB KIDS 2 I can ride down the blue slope in a “falling leaf”, but I can't do curves yet. Sometimes I can turn on back side, but I still have a problem on the front side.
Intermediate SNB KIDS 3 I can easily ride down the blue slope with drift turns on both sides. I can go down a steeper slope, but I don't feel confident.
Advanced SNB KIDS 4 I can easily ride down the red slope with drift turns. I have problems with curves on the edge of the board (carving), or I haven't tried them yet. I would like to practice jumps and simple freestyle tricks.
Adults – snowboard
Novice SNB ADULT 1 I have no experience
Beginner SNB ADULT 2 I try drift turns on both sides, I manage to ride an easy blue slope, but I still don't feel very sure and safe in the curves.
Intermediate SNB ADULT 3 I can perform drift turns even on steeper slopes. I have problems with curves on the edge of the board (carving).
Advanced SNB ADULT 4 I am able to go down any slope, I can ride on the edge of the board, but I still want to improve my ride. I would like to practice jumps and freestyle tricks.
