South Bohemian zoological garden Hluboká

Ohrada Zoo, in close proximity to the town of Hluboká nad Vltavou, is situated on the bank of Munický pond. It offers a pleasant and attractive walk for the whole family and at the same time good conditions for our zoological garden.

Come visit one of the oldest Czech zoological gardens and enjoy expositions where the Zoo keeps 300 animal species in 3000 specimens. Enjoy the contact Zoo, personally experience the South American rainforest, have fun with the ingenious meerkats or just take a walk and enjoy beautiful countryside and animals.

At present you can see the Siberian tiger Oliver and his new friend Altaica, the brown bears Ben and Dick, the otters Žanetka and Adélka, or Altaj, Gul and Zuchr - Himalayan brown bears, which are very rare and our Zoo is the only one in Central and Western Europe that breeds them. At the same time, you can look forward to animals that are typical for our country.
