Covid-19 measures

Mountainous areas are one of the healthiest environments we can treat ourselves to. Physical exercise in the clean landscape of the Šumava Mountains strengthens the much-needed immunity; however, it is also important to observe all necessary hygiene measures. Please read the basic rules that we are prepared to follow in Lipno to offer you fun and attractive programmes in our Resort and also to protect you sufficiently.

1. Protection of nose and mouth

Respiratory protection is one of the basic hygiene rules. Please observe the obligation to wear respiratory protection (nose and mouth), i.e. a respirator or similar device (without an exhalation valve at all times) with a minimum filtration efficiency of 94% in enclosed areas, but also in outdoor areas where it is impossible to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from each other. Please maintain the function of the respiratory protection by regular replacement or adequate maintenance.

2. Personal hygiene and availability of disinfection

There is a hand sanitizer dispenser stand available at the entrance to each interior space. Please use it and also follow hygiene measures by washing your hands regularly and thoroughly.

3. Boarding points and the operation of chairlifts

Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres at boarding points of chairlifts. The seats of all chairlifts in the Ski Resort are disinfected several times a day.

4. Ticket offices and the purchasing process

Purchasing from the online shop

Using our website www.lipnocard.cz is an ideal method for purchasing the skipass.

If you have a Lipno.card assigned to your account at www.lipnocard.cz, simply upload your purchased skipasses directly to the card and you can go skiing right away after your arrival at the Ski Resort.

If you do not have the cards assigned yet, after completing your purchase you will receive an exchange ticket, which you will take to the Ski Resort ticket office, where you will exchange the ticket for a skipass at the self-service check-out points.

On-site purchase

In the case of on-site purchase, skipasses can be bought at the self-service check-out points in the Client and Information Centre.

If you pay by credit card, i.e. by a contactless payment, you can go skiing straight away.

If your purchase is made in cash, you will be required to present one of the following documents to the cashier:

  • Vaccination:
    • you must provide a valid certificate of complete vaccination.  A minimum of 14 days must have expired since the vaccination was completed.
  • If you were ill with COVID-19
    • you must provide a laboratory confirmation that you have undergone the COVID-19 disease, the period of your required isolation has expired, and no more than 180 days have expired since your first positive rapid antigen test (RAT) or RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS CoV-2 virus
  • PCR test
    • no more than 72 hours ago, you underwent a RT-PCR examination for the presence of SARS CoV-2 virus, and the result is negative, but only if:
      1. you are under 18 years of age
      2. for health reasons, you are unable to be vaccinated and you have the contraindication recorded in the ISIN system
      3. you have received at least one dose of the vaccine but the period of 14 days has not yet elapsed since the last dose of the vaccine
  • Children under 12 years of age are not required to prove compliance with conditions under the Emergency Measures (O-N infection-free)

Minimizing direct contact is the key factor in improving the safety of our employees and you, customers. We therefore prefer contactless payments at the checkout counters.

5. Ski School

We prefer individual lessons when organizing skiing instruction. Group lessons will be adjusted to a maximum of 6 people per group this season.

6. Indoor premises: restaurants, refreshments, Après Ski entertainment

Since the indoor premises of restaurants, refreshments and Après Ski bars must follow their own rules issued by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, various restrictions may be introduced, e.g. affecting the opening hours or the number of persons inside a bar or restaurant.

7. Cancellation fees in the case of the closure of the Resort due to measures against the spread of Covid-19

If we have to close our Ski Resort due to government regulations, we guarantee a pro-rata refund of the skipass price.
